Group of hardline clerics signs up volunteers to fight in Gaza Strip in response to IDF airstrikes that have killed at least 300 Palestinians. Tens of thousands take part in anti-Israel protest in Tehran

A group of Iranian hardline clerics is signing up volunteers to fight in the Gaza Strip in response to Israel’s airstrikes that have killed at least 300 Palestinians, a news agency reported on Monday.

“From Monday the Combatant Clergy Society has activated its website for a week to register volunteers to fight against the Zionist regime (Israel) in either the military, financial or propaganda fields,” the semi-official Fars news agency said.

Iran has set up a court to try Israelis for its air attacks on Gaza and is ready to try in absentia any people who Tehran says have committed “crimes,” a judiciary official said on Tuesday.

Iran, which does not recognize Israel, has criticized some Arab states for not doing enough to stop military action by the Jewish state.

Iran’s top authority, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has called on all Muslims to defend Palestinians in whatever way they can.

Iran’s president told the Arab League, it must act quickly to end Israeli attacks on Gaza adding that setting up a committee or making speeches was not enough. But Mahmoud Ahmadinejad did not suggest specific action by Arab states, some of which non-Arab Iran has criticised for not doing enough to protect Palestinians after more than 380 deaths.

Everyone that US/Israel does not like it labels a “Terrorist Organization”. Hamas is the duly elected Government by the Palestinians. US/Israel wanted them to vote for the Puppet Govt. they had set up.

These “Rockets” being fired in large numbers have no hit a single Israeli target. Just homemade rockets hitting empty fields. The same tactic was used during the Lebanon invasion. Israel’s violation of the cease-fire predictably resulted in retaliation from militants in Gaza who fired rockets into Israel in response. The increased barrage of rocket fire at the end of December is being used as justification for the continued Israeli bombardment, but is a direct response to the Israeli attacks, notes Jeremy Hammond.
Lie #1: Israel is only targeting legitimate military sites and is seeking to protect innocent lives. Israel never targets civilians.

The Gaza Strip is one of the most densely populated pieces of property in the world. The presence of militants within a civilian population does not, under international law, deprive that population of their protected status, and hence any assault upon that population under the guise of targeting militants is, in fact, a war crime.

Moreover, the people Israel claims are legitimate targets are members of Hamas, which Israel says is a terrorist organization. Hamas has been responsible for firing rockets into Israel. These rockets are extremely inaccurate and thus, even if Hamas intended to hit military targets within Israel, are indiscriminate by nature. When rockets from Gaza kill Israeli civilians, it is a war crime.

THE WORSENING ECONOMIC CRISIS has prompted the US Army War College to issue a report urging the use of military troops to contain possible civil unrest throughout America.

Entitled, Strategic Shocks in Defense Strategy Development, issued on November 4, 2008, the report argues that the US military must prepare for a “violent domestic dislocation provoked by an economic collapse.”

The report was authored by Nathan Freier, an Army lieutenant-colonel and professor at the US War College in Carlyle PA - the Army’s main training institute for prospective senior officers. Freier consigns dissenting Americans to the category of “hostile groups:”

“Civil unrest would force the defense establishment to maintain domestic order. Under certain circumstances this would include use of military force against hostile groups inside the United States.” View Entire Report Here.

The Nazi / Zionist bombings against Gaza and the Palestinian people are cold, premeditated murders without the least concern for the pain, suffering or the rights of the people. The Zionists of Palestine feel superior, anointed by God, and they retain control of a good part of the worldwide economy. They subjugate nations and governments and silence people.

What is happening in Gaza is an exercise in barbarism demonstrating all the practices of the Hitlerites. However, it seems that the lessons of the concentration camps have perfected the brutal character of Zionism. Weapons are used with tungsten and phosphorus that hit a person above the abdomen, giving them no chance of survival.

There are weapons there that are banned by international law. The terrorist organization of the White House used this pretext to invade Iraq. In fact, North American intelligence was ”wrong.” The weapons of mass destruction were not in Baghdad, but in Tel Aviv. And they are used against defenseless men, women and children in the most inhuman and cowardly manner possible, typical of the Nazi / Zionist.

The second EU job centre in Africa has been opened in the West African state of Cape Verde. The ‘job centres’ are part of an EU plan to facilitate the swamping of Europe by more than 50 million Africans by the year 2050.

Despite rising unemployment in most European nations, the criminals running the EU have decided that the continent needs at least another 50 million Africans for “work.”

Israel continues its massive military operation against Palestine for three days running. Over 310 people have already been killed in the Gaza Strip as a result of Israel ’s air strikes. Over 180 Hamas activists have been killed, spokesmen for the organization said. Over 1,000 people have been wounded – mostly gunmen, policemen, officials and Hamas activists, sources in Palestine say.

Over 40 tunnels, which Palestinian terrorists made to deliver weapons and ammunition to the Gaza Strip, have been destroyed in the military operation so far.

The governments of Turkey and Jordan, as well as the UNRWA and the Red Cross organizations will send 100 trucks of humanitarian cargoes to the Gaza Strip December 29.

Israel made at least 20 missile attacks against the Gaza Strip overnight. Israeli warplanes also bombed the Islamic University in Gaza, where Hamas was keeping Qassam rockets and explosives.

Thousands of protesters marched in cities across Europe Saturday to demand an end to Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip, a day before Israeli troops launched a ground offensive into the densely populated territory.

Hundreds of Turks demonstrated outside the Israeli and United Nations missions in Istanbul and Ankara overnight in protest at Israel’s ground offensive in Gaza, media reports said.

Hundreds of people, carrying Turkish and Israeli flags, marched to the Israeli consulate in the business district of Levent, in Istanbul’s European side, reports said.

“Shut down the Zionist embassy, Palestine is not alone,” chanted the protestors, who also burned an Israeli flag.

On Saturday, thousands of people took to the streets in Germany, Britain, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Turkey to protest Israel’s air raids on the Gaza Strip and demand an end to the military action.
