Swiss People’s Party gained 29% of the votes!

The Swiss People’s Party, (Schweizerische Volkspartei, SVP) is a political party in Switzerland. Ueli Maurer is the president of the party.
The party opposes immigration into Switzerland and membership into the EU and UN. In the 2003 elections, they gained 26% of the Swiss Parliament. In 2007 they gained 29% of the votes.
