UK: “Don’t teach patriotism to chidren”

Patriotism should be avoided in school lessons because British history is “morally ambiguous”, a leading educational body recommends.

History and citizenship lessons should stick to the bare facts rather than encouraging loyalty to Britain when covering subjects such as the Second World War or the British Empire, the Institute of Education researchers said. Teachers should not instill pride in what they consider great moments of British history, as more shameful episodes could be downplayed or excluded.

The slave trade, imperialism and 20th century wars should be taught as controversial issues while students are deciding how they feel about their country, the report says.

Three quarters of teachers felt obliged to tell students about the danger of patriotism. The survey suggested neither pupils nor teachers wanted patriotism endorsed by schools.

Historians said last night, however, that it was impossible to teach the subject without patriotism or a recognition that British values were rooted in the past.

Berlin launch campaign celebrating the virtues of homoparentality

Despite growing hostility toward homosexuality in Germany, where 78.9% of young Turks and 47.7% of Germans react negatively on a public poll, where they were asked what was their reaction when they see a male homosexual couple kiss in public.

On February First, in Berlin some large size posters with the words “Familly is where children are” (Familie ist, wo Kinder sind) have been posted with two men or women with “their children” all over town (see above).

Financed by the municipality of Berlin, this propaganda on a large scale aiming at assimilating the acceptance of homoparentality is accompanied by a BOOKLET of information available in the German and Turkish language.

It Starts With Immigration and Ends With Dispossession

According to the latest predictions from the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) the number of immigrants in Britain will double over the next two decades to almost 10 million – which is broadly in line with the estimate suggested by the Office of National Statistics (ONS) as recently as last year. This nation-wrecking growth in migrant numbers is equivalent to adding a city the size of Oxford to Britain’s population every year! If these figures are remotely accurate then native Britons not only will see the education, public health, police and social services for which they pay stretched to breaking point over the next few years, but also face being reduced to a minority in a growing number of cities and towns throughout Britain.

The latest revelations reinforces the commonly held view that the Labour government has completely lost control of Britain’s immigration system – not that they, or the pro-immigration Tory regime before them, ever made a serious effort to control immigration. Typically, the hypocritical Tories, the party that has done as much as Labour to flood our country with unwanted migrants, is now attempting to score cheap political points. One leading Tory is on record as claiming that:

South Africa on the brink of a water crisis

South Africa is on the brink of a water contamination crisis, potentially as bad as the electricity fiasco of the past few weeks, the Business Times reported today.

In an alarming report, the National Nuclear Regulator (NNR) has confirmed evidence of contaminated crops and water, and has acted to protect people and livestock, the newspaper said.

The report - in the possession of the newspaper - is the latest of several recent indicators that government is no longer able to effectively monitor and manage its vast infrastructure of dams, pipes, pumps and treatment facilities.

Among the alarming findings contained in a series of reports are the following:

43 percent of dams managed by the Department of Water Affairs and Forestry (Dwaf) have safety problems and require urgent repair. An estimated R180-billion is necessary to replace old water service infrastructure countrywide, including in the major metro areas.

McCain is Now the Neo-Con Candidate

With the elimination of both Rudy Giuliani last week and Fred Thompson the week before, neo-conservatives who were not already in his camp will be rushing to support Sen. John McCain. Of course, McCain was the early favorite of Bill Kristol and the Weekly Standard back in 2000, and the latter’s most recent coverage, particularly by Dick Cheney favorite Stephen Hayes (he of the famous “Case Closed” leak that purported to prove beyond any doubt that Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden were long-standing friends and collaborators) has made clear that they are solidly in McCain’s camp.

Of course, the hard-line Likudists among the neo-conservatives had signed up with Giuliani who, as I (and subsequently many others) pointed out last July, chose some serious Islamophobes and Arabophobes — most notoriously Norman Podhoretz and Daniel Pipes — as his key foreign-policy advisers. The American Enteprise Institute (AEI’s) Michael Rubin also served as Giuliani’s chief Iraq and Iran adviser. But AEI also had a sentimental favorite in Fred Thompson who’s had a close association with the Institute. Indeed, when biographer Alan Weisman asked Richard Perle, the subject of his latest book, ‘Prince of Darkness,’ who was his favorite for 2008, Perle asked in turn what he thought of Thompson. It seems clear that Perle, at least last spring, thought that Thompson might be more electable than Giuliani, as much as I’m sure he would have preferred Rudy’s views on “Islamo-fascism.”

South Africa’s reverse discrimination policy cause electrical blackouts several hours a day.

South Africa’s reverse discrimination policy cause electrical blackouts several hours a day.

Restaurants, theatres, clubs and cinemas across Cape Town lost millions of rands in Friday night’s city-wide blackout, which has been blamed on “a lack of maintenance and continued neglect” of antiquated machinery and transmission lines.

The untimely blackout that hit Cape Town at 8.45pm on Friday and lasted until the early hours of Saturday was a huge financial blow because it struck on the first weekend of the month, when many people have money to spend.

Businesses that lost out also included conference centres, petrol stations, galleries and 24-hour manufacturing concerns.

On Saturday Eskom apologised to its customers for the technical fault involving a conductor which occurred at the major sub-station of Muldersvlei-Acacia, plunging most of the city into darkness. Most of the northern suburbs and Khayelitsha were unaffected.

A number of smaller sub-stations feed off Acacia, and in turn provide electricity to more than half the city.

City electricity spokesperson Charles Kadalie said the city gets its main supply from Acacia, which is next to the N1.

“We were informed that a technical fault had plunged the city into darkness. At 2.30am the 400kV line was brought back into service. Some areas only received power at 4.30am.

“There are still secondary problems, in areas like Constantia and Scarborough.”

Minister labelled racist after attack on rap ‘idiots’

The outspoken culture minister, Kim Howells, last night found himself at the centre of a race row after claiming that the time had come to stand up to the “idiots” of rap culture.

Mr Howells, who previously attacked exhibits at the Turner Prize show as “cold, mechanical conceptual bullshit”, launched into an extraordinary attack on black British music hours after the police had criticised the music industry for “glamorising guns”.

During a radio discussion on the killing of two black teenagers caught in the crossfire between rival gangs in Birmingham after a new year party, Mr Howells laid part of the blame at the door of British rappers.

“The events in Birmingham are symptomatic of something very, very serious,” he said. “For years I have been very worried about these hateful lyrics that these boasting macho idiot rappers come out with.

“It is a big cultural problem. Lyrics don’t kill people but they don’t half enhance the fare we get from videos and films. It has created a culture where killing is almost a fashion accessory.”

Royal Manchester Children's Hospital

Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital: Scene of the religious feud

A hospital porter has been fired after rowing with Muslim patients over a crucifix in a prayer room.Roman Catholic Joseph Protano, 54, was offended when he entered Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital’s prayer room to find the crucifix and Virgin Mary statue covered up.

When he asked the three Muslims - two patients and a doctor - using the prayer room at the time to remove the cover and place an painting of the Virgin Mary face up, an argument broke out.

The room is available for worship and prayer by followers of all faiths.

Following the argument, Mr Protano was dismissed for gross misconduct and is appealing his firing.

Mr Protano was questioned by police on suspicion of religiously aggravated assault, but he was released without charge.

His friend said: “He was very shocked at the decision. He thinks he has been treated terribly.

“He loves his job and doesn’t do it for the money - until recently, his employers were paying just £5.88 an hour.

Jews Murder & Sell Arab Organs !

JEWS MURDER & SELL ARAB ORGANS!
ORGAN TRAFFICKING IS NOW a multi-million dollar business. Couple this with the Zionists having an obsession for self-preservation and the Jewish Talmud’s view of Arabs being sub-human, Israel emerges as a leading trafficer in the organ transplant business. The University of Tel Aviv’s Israel Institute for Forensic Medicine, operating under the cover of DNA profiling of “criminals,” (murdered Arab Palestinians), is the prime operator in the organ transplant business.SEE: Arab Corpse ProfilingHere is what the Talmud says about all non-Jews: “Murdering a Goy is like killing a wild animal.” Sanhedrin 59a; “All Gentile children are animals.” Yebamoth 98a; “The seed of a Goy is the same as the seed of a beast.” Kethuboth 3b

AN EX-ISRAELI ARMY OFFICER, a Geldaya Gadi, was recently arrested in Brazil on suspicion of belonging to an International human kidney trafficking ring. Gadi told the court that Israel financed organ transplants in other countries due to the lack of organ donors in Israel. “The Israeli government is aware of the traffic in organs for patients in its country and pays for all transactions through state funded health plans,” Gady told the court.
