The Wilders film, titled “FITNA” , made its debut via British video-sharing website Liveleak and soon spread to the globally popular YouTube site where it quickly generated heated debate among viewers and much divided opinion.
The 17-minute film, which Wilders claims is not intended as an attack on Muslims but on radical Islam, features violent imagery of the terrorist attacks in New York and Madrid intertwined with Koranic texts.
The film opens and ends with a cartoon of the Prophet Mohammad with a bomb under his turban, originally published in Danish newspapers, accompanied by the sound of ticking.
Images of hijacked airplanes flying into the World Trade Centre in New York on September 11, 2001, soon follow with sound bites from phone calls to the emergency services on that day. The film then continues with grizzly images of bloodstained bodies in the aftermath of the Madrid train bombings in March 2004 in which 191 people were killed.

SUBURBAN multicultural hubs are on the rise, with overseas-born residents accounting for more than 50 per cent of the population in some suburbs.
An analysis of Census statistics by RP Data research director Tim Lawless has found Robertson, in Brisbane’s south, is home to the highest proportion of overseas-born residents, with migrants comprising 58 per cent of its population.
Mr Lawless said the majority of foreign-born residents were from mainland China and Hong Kong.
“Robertson was followed by Stretton, with 55 per cent of the population born overseas, also mainly from China and Hong Kong,” he said.
“The Brisbane CBD comes in as the third highest suburb based on residents born overseas. This would be due to the high number of international students that reside within inner-city accommodation.”
Rocky Lee and his parents, Ming Lau and Yiu Lee, have recently moved to Stretton.

Prominent Israeli rabbi calls for hanging sons of Palestinian gunmen as he quotes biblical Book of Esther.
TEL AVIV - A prominent Israeli rabbi has called on the state to exact “terrible revenge” against Palestinians for the recent killing of eight teenagers at a religious school in occupied Jerusalem, drawing heavy criticism.
In an article on the front page of a Jewish nationalist pamphlet, Shmuel Eliyahu, chief rabbi of the northern city of Safed, blasted the state for failing to avenge the March 6 attack.
“Two weeks have passed since the attack in Merkaz Harav Yeshiva and we have yet to hear of an Israeli retribution. Something has gone wrong with the decision makers. This used to be one of Israel’s basic policies,” he wrote in the latest issue of the weekly publication.
“We must call a spade a spade. Revenge, revenge, revenge. We must not forget. We must exact terrible revenge for the Merkaz Harav attack.
“I am talking about the state. It should hurt them until they yell ‘enough.’ Until they fall flat on the ground and cry ‘help,’” Eliyahu wrote.
The pamphlet — Eretz Yisrael Shelanu (The Land of Israel is Ours in Hebrew) — is distributed in many synagogues across the country, mainly in the illegal West Bank settlements.

In his most outspoken attack to date on the former colonial power and the United States, Mugabe said they were responsible for the chronic problems which are now afflicting the health service in a country where even bandages and painkillers are scarce and where from where most doctors have emigrated.
As one of his two challengers said the country needed a period of healing and reconciliation, Mugabe insisted it “will never die”.
“Our detractors have tried to derail our efforts, but the unity and resourcefulness of our people have always triumphed,” Mugabe said on a tour of Harare’s main hospital.
“The British, the Americans and those who think like them, would rather see our children, the old and the infirm suffer under the weight of their evil sanctions they have imposed as part of their desire to effect the regime change in our country. As a country, we march on unfettered.”

Multiculturalism argues that all cultures are equal expressions of our human variety. In fact, some diversity adherents even portray traditional cultures as superior to our crass western ways. Colorful ethnic attire and interesting cuisines do have a certain cachet when seen from a distance.
But when the reality of women’s brutal oppression worldwide is considered, multiculturalism can be seen as a fraud. Indeed, it supports the continuation of the monstrous crimes against women by its “celebration” of traditional cultures while ignoring the dark side.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said yesterday that the United States still has trouble dealing with race because of a national “birth defect” that denied black Americans the opportunities given to whites at the country’s very founding.
“Black Americans were a founding population,” she said. “Africans and Europeans came here and founded this country together — Europeans by choice and Africans in chains. That’s not a very pretty reality of our founding.”
As a result, Miss Rice told editors and reporters at The Washington Times, “descendants of slaves did not get much of a head start, and I think you continue to see some of the effects of that.”
“That particular birth defect makes it hard for us to confront it, hard for us to talk about it, and hard for us to realize that it has continuing relevance for who we are today,” she said.
Race has become an issue in this year’s presidential campaign, which prompted a much-discussed speech last week by Sen. Barack Obama, one of the two remaining contenders for the Democratic nomination.

Are the Blacks involved in the disproportionate number of crimes against Whites doing “God’s work”?
Are Black churches encouraging and rationalizing anti-White activities?
Where are all of the stories and documentaries on the major networks and cable channels about the “Afrocentric” Churches as are run on White interest groups?
The media refers to White groups as “hate” groups and Black groups as Afro centric.
Will their be a big “Stop the Hate” program pointing out how Blacks have benefited from their association with Whites?
While Obama made a thing about distancing himself from Reverend Wright’s statements, has he been asked to distance himself from the church in which the congregants yelled approval at Wright’s statements?
Has the government sent in agents to monitor these churches and agent provocateurs into these churches to cause incidents, generate bad publicity and disrupt their operations?

President Sarkozy of France embarrassed Gordon Brown yesterday, heaping praise on his “courage and loyalty” for ratifying the EU treaty without a referendum.
The president said that every other European leader was grateful to Mr Brown for not blocking the replacement to the EU constitution.
In return the Prime Minister signed Britain up to moves to create common EU immigration standards and cooperate on defence and nuclear policy.
At the conclusion of yesterday’s France-UK summit, the French president vowed to continue his charm offensive designed to draw Britain into deeper engagement in the EU.
“It is not simply a matter of a one-night stand. I believe that we can go in to next-day breakfast as well,” Mr Sarkozy said at a joint press conference with Mr Brown.

“Don’t worry,” they tell us, “The next administration will figure something out.”
With the future of our country at stake, would Americans really sit back and tolerate that kind of inaction? Of course not — we’d be sharpening our pitchforks and demanding answers.
Well there may not be a space asteroid heading toward us, but there is an economic one — and the threat to our future is just as severe.
You might think that I’m talking about the recession (sorry: potential recession) or credit crisis, but I’m thinking bigger. Much, much bigger.

“Fitna,” the long awaited movie from Dutch politician Geert Wilders, opens with a quote from the Quran/Koran, surah 8:60, in English with the Arabic on the right side. Here I will be reproducing the pertinent surahs with additional verses at times from a different translation (where noted) that is somewhat more comprehensible to both native and non-native speakers of English. I am further describing pretty much everything in the movie just in case it becomes unavailable at any point - even though, hopefully, thousands of people will save it to their computers and keep putting it up on every video forum possible.
“Let not the unbelievers think that they will ever get away. They have not the power to do so. Muster against them all the men and calvary at your command, so that you may strike terror into the enemy of God [Allah] and your enemy…” –Q 8:59-60 (Dawood, N.J., The Koran: With a Parallel Arabic Text, Penguin Classics, 1991, p. 183)

Things really are moving very fast indeed now. Just a couple of years ago the BBC were conspiring with the Labour Party and the police to try to jail BNP officials for telling the truth about the organised prostitution of English children by Muslim men and youths.
Now, only weeks before the BNP seem set to be elected into the London Assembly, reality seems to have kicked in to such a level that that very same BBC are now exposing this scandal via their flagship Panorama programme.
This programme can quite correctly be described as the BNP’s first party political broadcast of the current election season!

Am I the only person who has noticed the callous disdain of leadership in Africa? Why does corruption, fraud and holocaust occur after elections in some countries? I am not a doomster. However, what is actually happening in Africa needs to be condemned in the strongest terms. Africans fought colonisers tirelessly with the hope that if we elect our own leaders they would serve us.It is not democratic that one can be a ruler for more than 20 years - look at Zimbabwe. It is not democratic that innocent people die simply because two people have political differences - look at Kenya. It is not democratic that certain groups undermine the independence of the judiciary system - look at the ANCYL and the Jacob Zuma case. The above proves that Africans can’t be democratic, principled and provide good governance. One can’t help but find it difficult to believe that a man like Robert Mugabe, who fought hard for the independence of Zimbabwe, is now ruining the country. It started when he was voted into power as a populist who then failed to deliver to the poor, and then he became a despot.

For overseas students, a U.S. college education has suddenly gotten much cheaper — and many more are applying to study here.University of Washington officials say the number of foreigners applying to be freshmen this fall is up a whopping 40 percent. And the UW is not alone: Foreign applications are up 32 percent at Washington State University. Across the 10-campus University of California system, foreign freshman applications are up 25 percent this year and 50 percent over the past two years.
The tumbling dollar, experts say, is one factor.
“Our major [college] competitor has been the U.K. But the pound is so strong,” said Madeleine Green, vice president for international initiatives at the Washington, D.C.-based American Council on Education. “Every day, we get cheaper than Europe and the U.K.”

The majority of the Dutch are negative on Islam and immigration. Additionally, their knowledge of Dutch history is meagre, according to a survey by three history professors.According to 56 percent of the Dutch, Islam is a threat to the Dutch identity. As well, 57 percent named admitting large groups of immigrants as “the biggest mistake in Dutch history”.
The results come from the History Monitor. This survey was carried out among a representative group of 1,069 people by De Volkskrant newspaper, Historisch Nieuwsblad history journal and TV programme Andere Tijden in consultation with history professors James Kennedy, Niek van Sas and Hans Blom.
The History Monitor presented 20 multiple-choice questions on Dutch history and identity. Only for six questions did over 60 percent know the right answer. The worst answered was the question ‘Since which century has the Netherlands been a kingdom’; only 17 percent knew the Netherlands was a republic before the 19th century.
