Former Liberian President Charles Taylor ordered his militias to eat the flesh of captured enemies and United Nations soldiers, a former close aide testified on Thursday at Taylor’s war crimes trial.

“He [Taylor] said we should eat them. Even the UN white people — he said we could use them as pork to eat,” Joseph “ZigZag” Marzah, who described himself as Taylor’s former death squad commander, told the UN-backed Special Court for Sierra Leone.

Taylor, once one of Africa’s most feared warlords, faces charges of rape, murder, mutilation and recruitment of child soldiers during a 1991 to 2002 conflict. He has pleaded not guilty.

Marzah, on his second day as witness in his former leader’s trial, gave graphic details of atrocities in Liberia and Sierra Leone and of an ingrained culture of violence and brutality.

On Wednesday he described how he had killed so many men, women and children he had lost count, and he had also slit open the stomachs of pregnant women on Taylor’s order.

How the so-called “Civil Rights” Movement in America has led to loss of the most important civil right of all: life.

The almost simultaneous murders of White co-eds at two different, prominent universities, Auburn and University of North Carolina, should bring attention to an epidemic of brutal African-American crimes against White women in the United States.

The murder of Eve Carson, Student Body President of UNC has shocked her campus and its surrounding community to its core. Ms. Carson was found murdered in the middle of an intersection just outside downtown Chapel Hill on Wednesday, March 5th. Her body … which had two gunshot wounds, including one to the head, laid just a mile away from her SUV, which was left abandoned. Bank ATM video revealed that the murderer-carjacker, an African American, apparently attempted to get cash from Carson’s stolen ATM card shortly after the crime.

A Moroccan youth group from Delft in the Netherlands, calling themselves “Scheme 015 Delftse Samenzwering Shit,” [samenzwering means conspiracy] has posted a video clip threatening to kill voters and sympathizers of Dutch politician Geert Wilders. The clip shows a group of Moroccans youths provoking two Dutch lads on a crowded public train. The hooded Moroccans ask the lads, who are dressed in black, what the badges on their clothes mean. At first the lads do not react. When the Moroccans start pulling at the lads’ clothes the latter ask to be left alone. At this the Moroccans grab them from their seats and beat them up.

The clip ends with the warning: Fuck al die Wilders aanhangers want denk na: boontje komt voor ze loontje!!!! [F**k all those who support Wilders because you had better realize: one will reap the consequences of one’s actions!!!!”]

The European Union’s competition watchdog has appoved the use of €99m (£76m) of French state aid for a consortium attempting to build an internet search engine to take on Google.A lack of funding has meant the project - which is Latin for “I seek” - is still in the concept stage, but will now be able to get up and running thanks to support from France, which has championed the scheme.

Following an “in-depth examination,” the European Commission decided that the Quaero project “brings positive externalities for the community as a whole.”

However, Quaero “is not spontaneously underpinned by the market owing to divergent interests within the consortium and to uncertainties regarding the project’s chances of success,” the EU’s executive arm said in a statement.

Three men have been jailed for life after they were found guilty of the racially-motivated murder of white Glasgow teenager Kriss Donald.

Faisal Mushtaq, 27, Zeeshan Shahid, 28, and his brother Imran Shahid, 29, had denied murdering Kriss, 15, in 2004.

Kriss’s mother Angela - quiet during the trial - shouted: “You bastards,” as the jury delivered its verdict.

Imran Shahid must serve a minimum of 25 years, Zeeshan Shahid, 23 years minimum and Mushtaq, at least 22 years.

Outside the court, Ms Donald, 42, thanked police, the prosecution and witnesses.

She said: “Justice has been done, thank you - it is over.”

The six week trial had heard that her son had shouted: “I’m only 15, what have I done?” as he was dragged from the street and into a car.

A French court on Wednesday upheld a ruling in favor of a magazine that published cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad, rejecting an appeal by a Muslim group which said they incited hatred of Islam.The cartoons, published in the satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo in February 2006, originally appeared in a Danish newspaper five months earlier.

They provoked violent protests in Asia, Africa and the Middle East in which 50 people were killed. Several European publications reprinted them as an affirmation of free speech.

“These caricatures, which clearly target a fraction and not the whole of the Muslim community, do not constitute an insult or direct personal attack against a group of people because of their religion and do not breach the limits of freedom of expression,” the court in Paris ruled.

German schools must compete with Islamic hate preachers by informing students well about Islam, thinks Wolfgang Schäuble, German Minister of Internal Affairs. Schäuble will launch his proposal during the islam conference that begins today in Berlin.Schäuble announced his proposal in an interview today in Süddeutsche Zeitung. He says that he worries greatly about the radicalizing of young German Muslims and he thinks hate preachers have a big influence on them.

Schäuble says that they must fight hate preachers with all available means. Education aimed at Islam in school will compete directly with radical imams.

The minister says he’s convinced that increasing knowledge about Islam among youth will also change the practice of the religion in German mosques.
