ALIPAC Note: The Associated Press (AP) newswire service is the main way news travels across America into newspapers, radio stations, TV stations, etc… Again and again, we document the AP playing down these incidents, censoring material, and excluding key facts. The article on the top is the one broadcast by AP to the nation. It claims that the riot was gang related. Then when you read the LA Times local version of events, it indicates that the riot was race related. The AP censored the fact that students were separated by race while up to 600 students fought! While it is likely that illegal alien and drug importing gangs were involved, the scope was much larger. Many of the students at this school are illegal aliens or the children of illegal aliens.
Politically sanitized AP version:
Hundreds brawl at LA high school
Associated Press - May 9, 2008 6:34 PM ET
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Authorities say a South Los Angeles high school was locked down and then dismissed early after hundreds of students scuffled during a lunchtime brawl that left many with minor injuries.
School district spokeswoman Nadia Gonzalez says about 600 students were involved in what appeared to be a gang-related fight that started around noon Friday at Locke High School.

Faced with an alarming incidence of HIV/AIDS among African Americans and Latinos, the nation urgently needs to begin a domestic program to curb the spread of the disease, according to a nationally recognized AIDS policy expert.
“It’s not on the radar screen. There are not enough voices being raised,” said Dr. Beny J. Primm, executive director of the Addiction Research and Treatment Corp. in Brooklyn, N.Y.
More than 40,000 new cases of HIV/AIDS are reported each year in the U.S., and 60 percent of the people afflicted are African American, he said.
Primm, a former federal health official in the administration of President George H.W. Bush, was in Hartford Sunday to receive an award from the Greater Hartford chapter of the Links Inc., an organization of professional women of color.

The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR) strongly condemns the killing of a mother in front of her children yesterday, during an IOF incursion into New Abasan town, east of Khan Yunis.
PCHR investigations indicate that at approximately 16:30 on Wednesday, 7 May, IOF troops raided the house of Majdi Abd El-Raziq El-Daghma during an incursion into New Abasan.
The troops opened the outside metal door, then blew up the wooden interior door. The force of the blast killed 33 year old Wafa Shaker El-Daghma instantly. The IOF troops then stormed into the house and covered her body with a rug, having ascertained that she was dead. The troops then detained her 3 children, who had all witnessed the killing of their mother, in one of the rooms of the house. A soldier remained on guard at the entrance to the room. The children, who included a two year old, were confined inside the room for the next six and a half hours.
