Israeli mass media published several articles August 10 dedicated to the war in South Ossetia. Newspapers paid special attention to arms shipments to Georgia, which Israel had made in the past. A former defense ministry official said that the Georgian army had no chances in the opposition to the Russian army.

Russia’s Foreign Ministry accused Ukraine of encouraging Georgia to interventions and ethnic cleansings in South Ossetia. Russia also claimed that Ukraine had armed Georgia to the teeth. Georgia’s ground forces possess weapons, ammunition, unmanned aircraft, night vision goggles and other equipment made in Israel.

Israel’s Defense Ministry recommended to cease arms shipments to Georgia after the start of military actions in South Ossetia, not to provoke Russia.

Battles in South Ossetia continued throughout the night. Russian sources said that about 2,000 people had been killed in South Ossetia.

GENEVA (Reuters) - A special U.N. human rights investigator will visit the United States this month to probe racism, an issue that has forced its way into the race to secure the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination.

The United Nations said Doudou Diene would meet federal and local officials, as well as lawmakers and judicial authorities during the May 19-June 6 visit.

“The special rapporteur will…gather first-hand information on issues related to racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance,” a U.N. statement said on Friday.

His three-week visit, at U.S. government invitation, will cover eight cities — Washington D.C., New York, Chicago, Omaha, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Miami and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The increasing influence of Islam on British culture is disclosed in research today that shows the number of Muslims

worshipping at mosques in England and Wales will outstrip the numbers of Roman Catholics going to church in little more than a decade.

Projections to be published next month estimate that, if trends continue, the number of Catholic worshippers at Sunday Mass will fall to 679,000 by 2020.

By that time, statisticians predict, the number of Muslims praying in mosques on Fridays will have increased to 683,000.

The Christian Research figures also suggest that, over the same period, the number of Muslims at mosques will overtake Church of England members at Sunday services.

SCHOOLS will not move to stop using words like mum and dad, or girlfriend and boyfriend, the New South Wales Education Department says, despite reports that public schools are under pressure to provide gay-friendly environments.Changes to terminology, such as using the word “partner” to cover heterosexual relationships, are being sought by gay lobbyists bent on reducing discrimination in a major anti-homophobia push in the state’s schools, The Daily Telegraph reports.

But Department of Education and Training director-general Michael Coutts-Trotter says there is no move to stop using terms such as boyfriend, girlfriend, mum or dad in public school classrooms.

Media reports that there are moves to stop using these terms are “simply wrong”, Mr Coutts-Trotter said today.

“Public schools do not tolerate discrimination of any kind, whether on the grounds of religion, race, disability, gender or sexual preference,” he said.

A daily News Paper in Denmark ran an article in Sundays edition entitled ‘Anal Sex is healthy for men’. The author, a Danish `Sexologist` Mr Robert Lubarski, writes that `men should surrender themselves to their sexuality, and that it was time that the social spotlight was shone on the `Male Orgasm`. He continues that ‘Men who allow the accepted male role to dictate their habits in the bedroom are negatively affecting themselves’ and that some men who have experienced Anal Sex worry that they might be Homosexual (a fair bet I think). He is concerned that today’s man focus’s too much on what he believes is his expected part to play sexually, instead of simply enjoying himself.

The government of the world’s most populous Islamic state says YouTube has two days to take down a Dutch lawmaker’s provocative film on the Koran or it will block access to the popular video-sharing Web site.The warning by Indonesia came as the U.N.’s primary human rights watchdog ended a month-long session amid allegations by Western member-states and non-governmental organizations that Islamic nations are working to curtail free speech.

Geert Wilder’s 16-minute film linking Islam’s revered text with terrorism has sparked protests in a number of countries. It also drew criticism from the Arab League, the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) and the European Union.

In Indonesia, a former Dutch colony, Information Minister Mohammad Nuh told a press briefing in Jakarta Tuesday he had sent a letter to YouTube demanding the film, “Fitna,” be removed. If it did not comply, he said, the government in cooperation with Internet service providers would block the site.

The Islam critical film Fitna is one of the most talked about issues in the Netherlands. Many Dutch people have become very curious and want to see the film. But Dutch Newspaper De Volkskrant now reports that the Islam critical film of Geert Wilders will not be broadcast on Dutch television. Neither the government funded public broadcasters nor any of the tightly regulated commercial stations want to air it. Although government funded anti-Fitna films already where broadcast before.It is said that Wilders now plans to launch his short film on the internet during a press conference later this month. Thanks to the internet, the government can not totally stifle the freedom of expression.

A majority of Dutch people want an anti-Koran film made by a politician to be broadcast even though they fear it will stoke tension with Muslims and harm relations with Arab countries, a poll showed on Wednesday.

A newspaper reported on Monday that the Dutch government is looking into whether it could ban the film by right-wing lawmaker Geert Wilders, who has likened the Koran to Adolf Hitler’s Mein Kampf, but given few details about his movie.

Expressen the news agency in Sweden post the profiles of 3  Somali rapist students in Sweden who looks white, on their website .

Three “Swedish” citizens of Somali background were arrested on suspicion of financing terrorism abroad.

Those silhouettes are obviously of white males which are identifiable by the facial structure and the straight hair.

Trying to be racially neutral, Swedish newspaper Expressen used this picture for the article announcing their arrest.

Don’t count on your typical teenager to nod knowingly the next time you drop a reference to any of these. A study out today finds that about half of 17-year-olds can’t identify the books or historical events associated with them.

Twenty-five years after the federal report A Nation at Risk challenged U.S. public schools to raise the quality of education, the study finds high schoolers still lack important historical and cultural underpinnings of “a complete education.” And, its authors fear, the nation’s current focus on improving basic reading and math skills in elementary school might only make matters worse, giving short shrift to the humanities ? even if children can read and do math.

“If you think it matters whether or not kids have common historical touchstones and whether, at some level, we feel like members of a common culture, then familiarity with this knowledge matters a lot,” says American Enterprise Institute researcher Rick Hess, who wrote the study.

Jonathan Kay on Richard Warman and Canada’s phony-racism industry

The below article appeared for approximately one hour on columnist for the Kanadian National Post, Jonathan Kay’s blog, and then was inexplicably pulled and replaced with a much less important politically correct article that nobody will bother reading, which is exactly what the National Post wants. Incidentally, the two top executives at the National Post, David Asper[*] and Gordon Fisher are both ethnic Jews and hard core Zionists.

What Kay is saying in the article below is that Richard Warman (pictured), an agent of International Jewry was himself behind manipulating the Kanadian government into inacting “hate speech” laws that have since been used in Kanada to completely shut down political dissent, especially when any Jews are involved. Kanadian’s are pretty much able to say and/or write anything they like as long as it’s approved by world Jewry. There is no doubt that Warman would completely agree with the preceding concept. We have our own Warman’s right here in the United States, people like Morris Dees of the Southern Poverty Law Center, Abe Foxman of the Anti-Defamation League and pseudo-Nazi Bill White, who spends a great deal of his time attempting to incite blacks in various ways, encouraging them to commit acts of violence against White people, in an effort to make “hate crime” laws, with their inevitable “hate speech” provisions more palatable to the average American lemming.

While the world community works out the international implications of Kosovo’s independence, others are worried about a Muslim-majority state in Europe. The creation of a such a state raises fears of a radical Islamic state that would persecute Christians and become a base for terrorism.

“We understand their fear, but there is no reason to fear,” he said. “They will be part of the process as they were before.”

But the Serbs may be targeted more for their Serb ethnicity than their Christian faith.

AMERSFOORT, Netherlands-Several dozen protesters gathered outside a theater in the Netherlands Saturday where a singer who once performed for Adolf Hitler was due to take the stage in his native country for the first time in four decades.

Johannes Heesters, 104, has been a popular figure in German-language cabaret since the 1930s, earning him the epithet “the Netherlands’ most durable product.”

He was never accused of being a propagandist or anything other than an actor who was willing to perform for the Nazis, and the Allies allowed him to continue his career after the war. But in his native country he is viewed by some as irredeemable.

“He kept singing for the Nazi regime, for the Wehrmacht, and he earned millions,” said Piet Schouten, representative of a committee formed to protest Heesters’ performance.

“Those are facts and we have a problem with that on behalf of all the victims” he told national broadcaster NOS.
