The paper was finally disclosed under freedom of information rules yesterday. They were also told that large-scale immigration would bring increases in crime, but they concealed these concerns from the public.

Sections of the paper, which underpinned Labour policies that admitted between two and three million immigrants to Britain in less than a decade, have already been made public.

These have showed that Labour aimed to use immigration not only for economic reasons but also to change the social make-up of the country. IMMIGRATION CONTROLS RELAX
The points-based system, introduced last year, was designed to ease concern over the impact of mass immigration of low-skilled and low-paid workers, particularly in traditional Labour-voting areas.

Success for the scheme is central to Labour’s pledge that the population will not be allowed to reach 70million. ‘More and more evidence is now emerging to show that they deliberately planned a big jump in immigration for their own political purposes.

The defendant in the case, Mohamed Ali Samantar, is a former official of the Somali regime of Maj. Gen. Mohamed Siad Barre. Samantar, now a resident of Virginia, was sued for acts of torture, rape, and extrajudicial killing committed under his oversight. Samantar was sued personally, rather than the state of Somalia, which has not had a functioning central government since 1991, when the Barre regime collapsed.

The court also reviewed the legislative history of the FSIA, and found that Congress must have intended the Act to apply only to states. “If Congress meant to include individuals acting in [their] official capacity in the scope of the FSIA, it would have done so in clear and unmistakable terms,” The Samantar case solidifies a split in opinion among various courts of appeals. Now the Fourth and Seventh Circuits have held that sovereign immunity does not extend to government officials, while the Second, Fifth, Sixth, Ninth, and D.C. Circuits have held that it does.

In a case of strange political bedfellows, the Zionist Organization of America, Anti-Defamation League and the American Jewish Congress, along with several other pro-Israel organizations, have filed three separate Amicus Curiae briefs on Samantar’s behalf in the case.

According to the American Jewish Congress, “Our interest is, of course, Israel, which finds itself engaged in law-fare as well as warfare, courts around the world being another battlefield on which Israel finds itself engaged.”

The UK is one of several countries allowing criminal complaints to be brought by war crimes victims under the theory of “universal jurisdiction.” The United States should never be a haven for war criminals.

The Telegraph reports that thousands of illegal immigrants have been granted what the paper describes as “squatters’ rights” to remain in Britain permanently after proving they have lived here for 14 years.

A little-known rule, introduced in 2003, allows illegal immigrants to claim “indefinite leave to remain” if they manage to live in Britain’s black economy for long enough or are failed asylum seekers who manage to avoid deportation.

After 14 years they can apply to the Home Office which considers factors such as “compassionate circumstances, strength of connection to the UK and previous criminal record”, before deciding whether an illegal immigrant will be allowed to stay.

If successful, the immigrant will then be allowed full access to the welfare state and be eligible to apply for a British passport.

Since rules changed in April 2003, 7,245 illegals have won the right to live here permanently – more than 1,000 a year on average. It is likely that many paid no income tax during the 14 years they spent in Britain.

The Home Office estimated in 2005 that the illegal immigrant population in Britain was between 310,000 and 570,000 but other groups such as Migrationwatch UK, which campaigns against mass immigration, have put the figure far higher.

Migrationwatch UK now believes the true number of illegal immigrants could be as high as one million. Damian Green, the shadow immigration minister, said: “What disturbs me most is how many more people will be able to establish this type of squatters’ rights to stay in this country.

“Rewarding illegal behaviour is always bad, and there ought to be a lot more effort put into stopping people getting to this 14 year level.

“One of the reasons why we want to set up a specialist border police force is to prevent people being able to stay here for many years entirely below the radar.”

It’s not “ironic” that the most liberal country in western Europe should be the most advanced in its descent into a profoundly illiberal hell. It was entirely foreseeable. Geert Wilders is stating the obvious: a society that becomes more Muslim will have fewer gays. Still, the BBC gave it their best shot, concluding their report thus: “Correspondents say his Freedom Party (PVV), which has nine MPs in the lower house of parliament, has built its popularity largely by tapping into the fear and resentment of Muslim immigrants.”

Gotcha. This democracy business is all very well, but let’s face it, the people are saps, gullible boobs, racist morons, knuckle-dragging f–kwits.

The Israeli premier would have been the first one to have signed the order to kill, Dubai’s police chief Dahi Khalfan said on Thursday.

According to the police chief, the method used in the assassination is one used by Mossad.
The senior Hamas military commander Mahmoud al-Mabhouh was killed in his hotel room in Dubai on January 20th.

According to the London Times, the hit men subjected Mabhouh to an injection which induced a heart attack, photographed the documents in his briefcase and left a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door of the hotel room where the crime was committed.

Hamas has accused Israel of carrying out the hit. In a statement, the movement said, “We hold Israel responsible for the assassination of our brother and leader.”

The 50-year-old Mabhouh was one of the founders of Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas.

UPDATE:

“The first results of a joint investigation by Hamas and the (United Arab) Emirates show he was killed by an electrical appliance that was held to his head,” Fayed al-Mabhuh said.

“Material was sent to a Paris laboratory which confirmed he was killed by electric shock,” he added.

CULTURE OF ILLITERACY AND POVERTY GROWING IN THE USA

Within this growing and entrenched poverty and illiteracy paradigm, the numbers explode beyond recapture. In my last column, I urged a cap of 100,000 immigrants a year. Dozens of emails urged me to promote a 10 year moratorium. In my book, America on the Brink: The Next Added 100 Million Americans, I DID advocate a 10 year moratorium. If we don’t stop the massive immigrant in-bleeding, we cannot hope to save our educational systems or repair our illiteracy rates–

That leads up to the distressing fact that 1 in 7 Americans remains functionally illiterate:

Illiteracy Statistics

42 million American adults can’t read at all; 50 million are unable to read at a higher level that is expected of a fourth grader.
The number of adults that are classified as functionally illiterate increases by about 2.25 million each year.
20 percent of high school seniors can be classified as being functionally illiterate at the time they graduate.

The greatest question facing Americans today in the arena of legal and illegal immigration is: how many is too many? When is enough enough? How many more of the world’s poor can we handle? How are we going to handle a line of immigrants that never ends? As they stream into our country by the millions annually, what about our culture, language and quality of life? What about our sustainability?

The United States absorbs, or another term may be more appropriate–chokes on 1.2 to 1.5 million legal immigrants annually. America imports more immigrants than all other countries combined. For the past forty years, this country injected itself with an enormous immigrant load that added an additional 100 million people to America.

Whether we like to admit it or not, this colossal human overload created virtually every detrimental sociological, educational, environmental and resource dilemma we face today. One look at Detroit, Michigan with a 76 percent high school dropout rate and 50 percent illiteracy causes exasperation to what has happened to the American Dream. Notice the most tragic aspect of every third world country: illiteracy! It means more Americans that educate themselves will be paying more for those that chose illiteracy. Ironically, their numbers increase much faster than educated Americans. Therefore, all of us will be paying more for ‘their’ educational folly and fecundity. As their educational levels drop, our standard of living and quality of life drop with them.

Take a look at California! Anyone think it will survive its demographic situation by adding another 20 million immigrants within 30 years? California suffers $26 billion in debts, but grows by 1,700 people daily. (Source: www.capsweb.org) How about the latest figures in the Denver Post that show 43 American states cannot pay their bills and suffer billions in debts?

Where Illiteracy Leads (2.3 million Americans in prison)

70 percent of prisoners in state and federal systems can be classified as illiterate.
85 percent of all juvenile offenders rate as functionally or marginally illiterate.
43 percent of those whose literacy skills are lowest live in poverty.

Yet, not one U.S. Senator, U.S. House rep, state governor, mayor, President Obama or environmental organization whispers a peep about the immigration factor! In fact, my two U.S. Senators Mark Udall and Michael Bennet propose to double legal immigration in the approaching amnesty bill.

As it is today, legal and illegal immigrants pour into America at an astounding rate of 200,000 every 30 days, month in and month out, year in and year out.

Obviously, we average Americans ignore our accelerating predicament as long as water falls from the tap and our cars enjoy ample gas and our heaters come on in the winter to keep our homes warm. But, our ‘land of plenty’ will not persist with relentless immigration.

A poll for popular newspaper Bild am Sonntag found that 53pc of Germans wanted Greece to be expelled from the euro if necessary in the coming months. Two-thirds were adamantly against German money being put towards a bail-out of the troubled country, the paper also found.

The findings underline the dilemma faced by eurozone ministers, who last week pledged to support the country if necessary, but stopped short of unveiling an explicit bail-out. The euro fell to nine-month lows on Friday, and many expect further falls this week, as investors expressed disappointment that ministers had failed to set out a detailed plan of action to prevent the country from defaulting.

Having unveiled a budget deficit far in excess of expectations earlier this year, the Greek government has been struggling to raise money in capital markets, seeing the interest rates on its debt and the cost of insuring it against default increasing sharply. Some fear that the country will need some form of extraordinary assistance if it is to avoid defaulting on its debt.

But French proposals for a bail-out funded by some of the less stricken eurozone nations met with fierce resistance from the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, at a European Council meeting in Brussels last Thursday. The German constitution has legal restrictions on any prospective bail-outs of other nations. However, it is the scale of public disapproval for such a move that is of particular concern to German politicians. The proposals have created fractures in the country’s ruling coalition, with Mrs Merkel’s coalition partners, the Free Democrats, aggressively resisting such a move. The party’s Treasury spokesman Otto Fricke said: “Solving this problem cannot be about aid for Greece. If anything, it’s about keeping any damage away from German taxpayers.”

With such divisions clear to investors, fears are now growing about what the potential contagion effect for the rest of Europe would be in the event of some kind of Greek economic collapse. According to figures from the Bank for International Settlements, Britain has exposure to public and private sector debt in Portugal, Ireland, Italy, Greece and Spain worth around 16pc of gross domestic product – some £240bn, while Switzerland has an even greater exposure.

Lisa Hintz of Moody’s said: “Make no mistake, a Greek default is another potential credit crisis in the making… it is not just the writedown of Greek debt; it is the mark-to-market of other sovereign debt.

“That would bankrupt the bulk of the European banking system, which is why it is unlikely to be allowed to happen.”

European finance ministers, including Alistair Darling, meet for a summit today and are expected to provide further details of a possible support package for Greece. However, even by last night it was unclear as to whether they would commit to a bail-out. The statement issued by the EU after the summit last week said: “Euro area Member states will take determined and coordinated action, if needed, to safeguard financial stability in the euro area as a whole”, before adding: “The Greek government has not requested any financial support.”

However, the Chancellor has insisted that even if there is a rescue, Britain will not be expected to contribute.
